Sales Analyst - Hybrid
About the position
This opportunity will have a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office and remote flexibility on Friday. Candidates must be within a comfortable driving distance of a local facility to be considered. This role will be based out of the locations below: Atlanta, GA - 3400 Cumberland Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 Jacksonville, FL - 9000 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 New Braunfels, TX - 1511 Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130 Job Summary Gather disparate data from various data sources; analyze and normalize to ensure data integrity for analysis. Provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available for analysis.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise.
- Gathers and compiles raw data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.
- Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.
- Defines data definitions and documents data limitations.
- Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs, mailing lists, maps and ad hoc requests.
- May make presentations.
- Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis.
- Provides input on policies and procedures.
- Participates in department and interdepartmental projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
- Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues.
- Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
- May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Certification is required in some areas.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong focus on process improvements.
- Experience improving reporting workflows, data processes, documentation, and data definitions to increase efficiency and data quality.
- Prior experience in a Sales Analytics or Sales Operations / Commercial Analytics role supporting sales or commercial teams is a plus!
- Elementary to working knowledge of Snowflake and Tableau (or similar data warehouse and BI tools).
- Strong experience preparing spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, graphs , and presenting insights in a clear, business-focused format.
- Highly organized, focused, and detail-oriented , with the ability to manage multiple requests and in a data-driven environment.
- Experience gathering, normalizing, and validating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
