Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Technical Specifics: In this role you may work from home or in-office, making outbound and taking inbound calls from patients to address their follow up plans or concerns. If you work from home, this position runs software that requires high-speed internet with 25 MB download and 15 MB upload speeds. The ability to consistently run this software is a requirement to be successful in this position. If you work from home, you will need a quiet space that is free of distractions, so that you can focus on your job responsibilities. Background noise should be limited, and you must be able to maintain a space that provides patient confidentiality. You may be required to be in the office occasionally for administrative duties, training, or teambuilding.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) by a national certification organization.
  • Able to obtain RN license in states Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
  • Minimum of 1 year or more in sexual, reproductive health, or gendering affirming care.
  • Must have active licensure in Colorado, New Mexico, or Wyoming and must have, or be willing to obtain, controlled substance prescriptive authority in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
  • You are experienced in providing empathetic, patient centered care.
  • You have strong computer skills and ability to navigate all Microsoft Suite applications.
  • You must be willing to apply for and maintain licensure in other states as needed.
  • You have no restrictions on your ability to be credentialed with Medicaid or other payors.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high‑quality virtual care in abortion services, family planning, and gender‑affirming care.
  • Triage medical questions and concerns, including daytime Call for Abortion support per PPRM MS&Gs.
  • Provide asynchronous care for birth control, emergency contraception, and UTI treatment via the PPDirect app (7‑day availability).
  • Conduct phone and video visits to diagnose and treat reproductive and sexual health conditions.
  • Respond to patient inquiries received through the Patient Portal.
  • Accurately document all interactions in EHR/EPM systems and run relevant NextGen reports.
  • Complete mandatory STI reporting for Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and leader for staff across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of PPRM’s virtual care program.
  • Provide education and collaborate with health center teams and community partners.

Salary Range: $50.05/hour - $63.41/hour. *Although our full pay range is included above, compensation is based on budget guidelines and related professional experience.

Schedule: Full-time; ~37.5 hours/week; Benefits Eligible; Non-exempt

Every 4 weeks:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Every 5 weeks:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 8am - 4pm
